WHY GO

This section of the Longdendale Trail combines reservoir views with the history of the Manchester–Sheffield railway. The National Park’s Miles without Stiles route leads through memorial woodland onto the old trackbed, continuing towards a viewing platform and ponds.

Approach walk: not verified
Total visit time: not verified
The stated approach has been checked for steps and stiles. Read the full terrain and accessibility notes to decide whether it suits you.
