Reservoir paths, woodland and moorland edges on the Saddleworth side of the northern Peak District.
Dove Stone brings a reservoir circuit beneath the hills above Greenfield. The RSPB and United Utilities manage the surrounding habitats, including blanket bog undergoing restoration. The main waterside trail offers a shorter visit than the rougher routes into the high moorland.
